Money saver right here :) Make your own baby wipes! Use 1/2 roll paper towel, 2-1/4 cup water, 2 Tbsp baby wash, and 1 Tbsp baby oil. That's it! ~Juanita

Homemade Baby Wipes What you need: a round plastic container with a tight-fitting lid, thick, strong roll of white paper towels, Sharp, serrated knife to cut paper towel roll in half, 2 cups water that has been boiled and cooled to room temperature, 2 Tbsp. baby shampoo or baby wash, 1 Tbsp. baby oil What to do: First, cut your paper towel roll in half and remove the inner cardboard tube. Then mix your liquid ingredients in container and place one of the paper towel halves inside, cut side down (save the other half for the next time you need to make wipes). Place the cover on the container and turn the container upside down. Keep it upside down until the paper towels are soaked through. Open the container. Pull the cardboard center out of the paper towels and "start" your roll by pulling a towel from the center of the roll

I have done this since my daughter was born except I leave out the baby oil and use coconut oil but she never gets rashes and is now 3.

Have you heard of this? It seems simple enough. Even if you start saving now, by Christmas you could have $630. Not too shabby. ~Juanita

I love these! Cold and creamy and just the right crunch with the cookie topping. Easy to make and so delicious!

Banana Cream Squares

1/2 cup butter or margarine, cold
1 pouch (1 lb 1.5 oz) Betty Crocker® sugar cookie mix
1 egg, slightly beaten
1 package (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
1 tub (8 oz) frozen whipped topping, thawed
1 box (3.4 oz) instant banana pudding mix
3 medium ripe bananas, sliced

Heat oven to 375°F. Spray 13x9-inch baking dish with cooking spray. In medium bowl, cut butter into cookie mix using pastry blender or fork, until mixture is crumbly. Reserve 3/4 cup mixture for topping. Mix egg in remaining mixture until incorporated. Press crumbs evenly in bottom of dish. Bake 13 to 15 minutes or until light golden brown around the edges. Cool completely.

In 15 x 10x 1 inch pan or cookie sheet, place the reserved topping crumbs in a thin layer. Bake 8 to 10 minutes, stirring occasionally or until light golden brown. Cool completely. Crumble into small pieces. Set aside.

In 3-quart mixing bowl, beat cream cheese with electric mixer on medium speed, for 1 minute or until smooth. Add sweetened condensed milk. Beat until well blended. Beat in the whipped topping until smooth. Add the pudding mix and continue to beat for an additional 2 minutes or until everything is well combined.

Spread 1/3 of the pudding mixture onto cooled base. Arrange bananas in a single layer over pudding, Top with remaining pudding mixture and refrigerate for 10 minutes or until set. Sprinkle the cookie crumbs over the pudding. To serve, cut into 24 squares, 4 rows by 6 rows, and serve individually.

It's that time of year were people want to wear sandals/flip flops. Here are some home remedies to keep the feet looking and smelling good.

Treating cracked heels and blackened feet

Put shaving cream on your feet.
In a bucket or sink, combine equal parts warm water and Listerine.
Soak a small hand towel in the solution of water and Listerine.
While the shaving cream is still on your feet wrap the wet hand towel around your feet and let it sit for 30 minutes.
After 30 minutes, use the towel to rub your feet. Some of the calloused and discolored skin will rub off.
Apply a healthy amount of lotion to your feet.
After your foot bath, is it a good idea to spend at least 5 minutes drying your feet. You want to make sure you do not put your socks and shoes on with your feet

still wet or damp (this can cause bacteria growth and infection). Use a towel to pat your feet dry and be sure to get in between the toes.

Also, give your feet a break from sandals (don't wear them every day) and apply lotion to your heels nightly to reduce cracking

Treating sore or smelly feet

Soak your feet in 1 gallon of warm water and 1 cap-full of bleach. This takes the soreness out of your feet and kills bacteria that cause the smelly feet.

You can only use this method three times a week.

In general, please pay attention to your feet. It is very easy to get a foot infection due to the fact that they get little air, they sweat, and they are in limited space in a shoe to move.
